GA CCIM CHAPTER – 2020 First Quarter Newsletter

Dear GA CCIM Chapter members,

I would like to inform you we have an exciting year ahead of us. Actually, the excitement has already started! On January 23rd, during our Annual Meeting we were able to acknowledge our five (5) Scholarship recipients, awarded to several motivated individuals pursuing the CCIM designation. In Addition, on January 29th, we were able to launch our first-ever Mentorship Program with ten Mentees, and ten Mentors. I would like to compliment Kenisha Robnett for spearheading our Mentorship Program efforts and thank Cushman & Wakefield for sponsoring this program.

I am also happy to inform you that our Chapter is in great shape organizationally and financially speaking, thanks to the leadership and efforts of our 2019 President Jason Holland and our 2019 Board of Directors. We are planning to continue building on their success.

This year we have a stellar Board of Directors as well. Collectively, we have a year abounding in Chapter activities including: Designation Curriculum classes, educational programs, study groups sessions, social/networking functions, our annual sponsor appreciation gathering, designation promotion events, our annual Washington D.C. trip, STDB workshops, a trip to the Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah in October, and our Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon, among other activities. Please make sure to visit our Chapter’s website to get the latest version of our printable Calendar to stay well informed about all of our activities this year.

Our BOD’s 2020 Shared Vision is to make sure that we cover all of the bases for a healthy Chapter, by following the guidelines and best practices stipulated by the CCIM Institute through their President’s Cup guidelines. At the end of 2020, our greatest achievement will be to know that we came together as a Team, to provide exceptional and relevant services to all of our Members.

Another major strategic effort this year will be our Social Media endeavors to promote our prestigious CCIM designation. By promoting our designation, we are promoting every single one of our Members, thus, helping you to generate more business! Please follow our various Social Media channels, and post using the hashtag #gaccim throughout the year.

Know that our Chapter would not be possible without the involvement of all of our Members. Therefore, I want to sincerely thank you, in advance for your involvement and participation during 2020.

Our Chapter Officers, Board of Directors and I look forward to serving you this year.
