Committees/Get Involved

Joining a committee is one of the best ways to get the most out of your Georgia CCIM membership, giving you exclusive access to some of the commercial real estate industry's top leaders. If you are interested in participating on a committee, review the descriptions below and click on the committee name to contact its chair.

Candidate Guidance
The goal of the Candidate Guidance committee is to assist candidates through the CCIM education and designation process. This committee offers courses on portfolio review and designation exam preparation and facilitates the Candidate recommendation process.

Designation Promotion
The Designation Promotion committee works to promote the CCIM designation throughout the Georgia marketplace.

Education & University Outreach
Education is one of the three tenants of the CCIM organization. This committee is responsible for planning and implementation of core curiculum courses hosted by the Georgia CCIM Chapter and working with area colleges and universities to promote the CCIM designation.

Legislative Affairs
Legislative Affairs provides updates on national, regional and local legislation that impacts the commercial real estate industry.

This committee works to grow and retain the Chapter’s membership through interaction within the CCIM community and the commercial real estate industry.

Programs & Networking
The Programs committee is responsible for creating the Chapter’s informational programs and planning social events to promote networking opportunities within the Chapter as well as with other industry organizations.

The Scholarship committee manages the identification, selection and award process for both Chapter sponsored and CCIM Institute scholarship programs. 

This committee is responsible for securing industry partners to support the Chapter on an annual or special event basis.

The primary objective of the Technology committee is to promote and educate members on available technology from the CCIM Institute as well as industry specific tools. Additionally this committee manages technology utilized by the Chapter.
